Geilo Dogsledding offers an unforgettable 10 km dogsledding tour on Ustedalsfjorden. Geilo Dogsledding operates with two large teams, and each dog team has two sleds. The guests are on one sled no 1. Directly behind the dogs, but for safety`s sake an experienced dog handler is on the sled no 2. This means that now one drives a large team of dogs alone, regardless of age. Children from age of 12 goes as adults and can stand one the sled no. 1. By driving with two sleds, you as a guest will have the opportunity to experience the feeling of driving a large dog team, while safety is well taken care of by an experienced dog musher standing on the sled behind.
We switch halfway through the trip so one haft of the trip you sit warm and comfortably in the dog sled with reindeer skins and blankets for the other part of the trip you stand on the sled as a dog musher behind the four-legged heroes.
The 10 km tour takes 40–50 minutes depending on weather and snow conditions.

- Child (3–11 years): NOK 1000
- Child (0–2 years): Free.
Number of people: 5 guests. Please contact us if there are more children in the group and there may therefore be a need to increase capacity. The number of people per tour may vary depending on our capacity.
Dogsledding with Geilo Dogsledding is at your own risk. Everyone who drives dogs with us must have their own travel insurance.
Age limit:
Children from 0 to 2 years must sit together with an adult in the dogsled. Children from 3 to 11 years must also be accompanied by an adult. Children from 12 years are considered adults in connection with the dogsledding and may, if desired, try to drive the dogsled.
Cancellation:
If the dogsledding is cancelled by the customer up to 7 days before the activity, the amount paid will be refunded minus an administration fee. If Geilo Dogsledding has to cancel the dogsledding, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded.
